Meet the Team
Attorney Catalina A. Reynoso was raised in Lynwood and Compton, California. She earned her bachelor’s degree from UCLA and her law degree from Loyola Law School. She strives to educate individuals regarding the importance of estate planning and Medi-Cal planning. Catalina practices in the areas of estate planning, Medi-Cal planning, conservatorships, and probate. Catalina is a fluent Spanish speaker. Her office is located in Long Beach and she has an additional meeting location in Santa Ana.
Catalina is passionate about elder law and special needs planning because of her close relationship with her grandmothers and physically disabled aunt.
Catalina enjoys spending time with her family. She loves cooking and recreating her family’s traditional recipes. Catalina enjoys spending time outdoors, especially tent camping. She is married and has a toddler son. Her family includes three rescue dogs Bitsy, Spark E., and Rocky B. When Catalina’s mom moved in, she brought her posh dog, Mendi, to join the family.
Catalina was the 2021-2022 President of the Southern California Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She was previously on the board of the Elder Law and Special Needs Section of the Orange County Bar Association. She is a member of the Mexican American Bar Association and the National Latina Business Women Association.
Katelyn Hernandez, Office Manager and Legal Assistant at Catalina Reynoso Law, brings a mix of academic excellence, entrepreneurial spirit, and community engagement to the team. She recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach. Katelyn contributes to the firm with her administrative skills and eagerness to learn, especially as she prepares for law school.
Her journey includes founding a small business providing swim lessons to children. Additionally, Katelyn was involved in campus life as the Public Relations Chair for Hermanas Unidas de Long Beach. Raised in Northeast Los Angeles, Katelyn’s personal interests include spending time with her pets, painting, and trying new foods. She eagerly anticipates a career in law, driven by a passion to assist and uplift others.
Sara Reynoso is the notary at Catalina Reynoso Law. She studied Graphic Design at Cal Poly Pomona then later transferred to Cal State Long Beach where she earned a BFA in Studio Art along with a minor in child development. Sara is the business owner and art instructor at Kiko’s Art Quest, a play-based art course for children seven years and younger. Sara is also a substitute teacher for preschool through 12th grade. During her free time, she enjoys being in nature, attending concerts and honing her artistic skills.
Brian Ramos is an analyst with exceptional Excel skills. He graduated from Cal State Long Beach with a degree in Business and Information Systems. Brian works as a contractor for Catalina Reynoso Law. Brian enjoys grilling, listening to music, making others laugh, and spending quality time with his immediate family.
